What are the methods and techniques for double-head CNC machining of CNC lathes?
Usually,we perform CNC deep hole machining on a part.The first is that the NC programmer analyzes the design drawings of the part,determines the machining plan,and then selects a point on the workpiece as the origin of the coordinate system for programming.We call it the program coordinate system and the program origin.
The determination principle of this point is easy to determine and convenient to program calculation,generally coincides with the process reference or design basis of the part,so it is also called the workpiece origin,and the coordinate system established is also called the workpiece coordinate system.CNC programming is based on the workpiece coordinate system,while part machining is performed on a CNC lathe.
Now we can know that there is no connection between the workpiece coordinate system and the machine coordinate system.In order to link the two,we have to perform the tool setting operation.Let's take a look at the specific method introduction.
The first is to obtain the workpiece coordinate system by directly inputting the tool offset value to the tool.This method is simple to operate and reliable.Through the close relationship between the tool offset and the mechanical coordinate system,the workpiece coordinate system will not change as long as the tool is not unloaded or the tool offset value is changed.Even if the blade is replaced,the workpiece coordinate system is still in the original position with a slight correction.Powering down and restarting the machine will not affect the coordinate system position.
The second is to specify a value after the G50 in the program to set the workpiece coordinate system.After the tool is moved,the point on the tool,such as the tool tip,must be moved to the coordinate position set by G50 to be processed.
The third method is to use MDI to set six coordinate systems,G54~G59.This coordinate system can change its position by external workpiece zero offset value or workpiece zero offset value.The three methods of changing the external workpiece zero offset value or the workpiece zero offset value are input from the MDI panel,programmed with G10 or G50,and external data input function.
With the development of numerical control technology,CNC machining tools are widely used.A skilled double-headed CNC operator must master the basic skills of the knife.In actual production,the tool setting efficiency and tool setting error directly affect the NC machining efficiency and the accuracy of the machined parts.
