Application of numerical control technology in stamping equipment
At the same time of its own development, stamping technology, combined with material technology, computer technology and numerical control technology, has become a production technology that is not only suitable for single-piece mass production, but also can be produced in a single piece and small batch, and has a wide range of application technologies. The result is the advent of numerous CNC stamping equipment.
CNC turret punch
Due to its high flexibility,CNC stamping equipment can meet the needs of instant production and individualized production. Therefore,it has achieved rapid development in the past decade, and even traditional mechanical presses have begun to use CNC technology. For example, the CNC turret punch press, with the support of numerical control technology, uses the most traditional blanking technology and the simplest mold to complete the punching and undulating forming of the thin plate workpiece. The size and shape of the workpiece are almost arbitrary. The principle is as follows:the electronic map document of the workpiece is input into the computer, and the automatic programming software will quickly generate the machining program of the machine tool.Under the coordinated command of the numerical control system, the machine tool completes the automatic positioning, mold selection and stamping of the sheet material. The machine tool has an X/Y direction positioning table for sheet positioning, which can feed the sheet into the striking position;the turret mold library can install dozens of sets of molds, and the turret rotates to position the selected mold to the striking position. The punching mechanism drives the stamping die to complete the stamping. The mold structure is very simple, but through the combination of the positioning of the sheet material and the mold, various hole patterns can be punched on the sheet material, and the stroke numerical control of the punching mechanism can complete various shallow drawing depths. It can be seen that the combination of the traditional simple mold and numerical control technology, the development of a new equipment-CNC turret punch press, can make the advantages of stamping technology greatly exerted.
Car longitudinal beam CNC punching equipment
In the past, the production volume of trucks was large, and the frame stringer punching was done by a traditional process combining large presses and large molds. However, with the user's individual demand for the engine, the mixed production of different models, and the sudden changes in the market, there are quite a few single-piece and small-batch production methods for today's truck production. In this case, the traditional stamping technology has been extremely utilized with numerical control equipment as a carrier. For example, the U-shaped longitudinal beam CNC three-face punching machine can punch various types of longitudinal beams, and all the holes on the left and right wing surfaces of the ventral surface can be processed at one time, which makes the cost of new product trial production and single-piece small batch production remarkable. The reduction, the efficiency is greatly improved, and the mold used in the machine tool is a simple punch and a die.The U-shaped longitudinal beam is driven by the CNC shaft. There are more than ten to twenty sets of molds on the ventral surface, and 6-9 sets of molds are arranged on the left and right airfoil surfaces. After the longitudinal beams pass through the machine tool, the holes on the vertical beams are all punched out.
It can be seen from the above two kinds of equipment that the current CNC punching equipment can no longer simply process one kind of workpiece after installing the mold, but can process almost any kind of workpiece. Therefore, when we develop new stamping technology in the future,we should also pay attention to the application of traditional stamping technology, and pay attention to the organic combination of traditional stamping technology and numerical control technology,so that the new equipment developed can greatly exert the advantages of stamping technology.
